SAUSAGE & MASH DINNER

Ingredients
- 20g MCT oil
- 60g Sausages Black Farmers Daughter Chipolatas
- 40g Potatoes, old, raw, flesh only
- 60g Celeriac, raw
- 25g Peas, frozen, boiled in unsalted water
- 6g Butter
Instructions
- You will also need 1/4 Knorr Chicken Stock cube dissolved in 80mls of hot water
- Weigh the potato & celeriac after peeling cut into even size pieces and boil in salted water til cooked.
- Cook the peas in a little boiling water.
- Mash the potato & celeriac together with 10g of the oil
- While the potato is cooking gently fry the sausage in the remaining MCT oil & half the butter cook gently for 10 minutes
- Place the mash, sausages and peas on a warm serving plate and keep warm while you make the gravy do this by adding the 80mls of stock to the frying pan and bring to the boil let it reduce for a minute or two then add the remaining butter and boil for a further minute, The butter helps to thicken the gravy
- Serve the meal with all of the gravy to ensure you get all of the oil
- You can, of course, substitute another vegetable if peas are not liked. And you can use all celeriac if you do not want to use potato. it would reduce the carbs considerably!
