Notes
Mo’s tip: The fat bombs have to be added to the values.
Easy to adapt to suit most shapes.
For individual nests I found it better to use desiccated coconut.
Follow the same instructions but place in small nests which can be on a non-stick surface or in cases.
Ingredients
- 25g Coconut flakes – HOLLAND & BARRETT UNSWEETENED
- 4g Cacao butter – GREEN ORIGINS ORGANIC
- 18g Chocolate – LINDT 90% DARK SUPREME
- You will also a few drops of liquid sweetener.
Instructions
- First toast the coconut flakes in a hot dry pan. This only takes a few minutes, but it gives a nice flavour and a crisper texture.
- Melt the chocolate and cacao in a basin over hot water, taking care not to overheat it!!
- Add the sweetener to taste.
- Stir the chocolate into the coconut.
- Form into a nest on a non-stick surface.
- This is for filling with fat bombs which can be made in egg or chick shapes.
