Mo’s tip: You will need extra oil for deep frying, but the recipe should absorb approximately 29g of oil.
If you weigh the oil before using, then again after you will get the amount of oil in the serving.
You will get a larger piece of bread if you trim the crust off before weighing.
You can make these ahead then reheat in a hot oven 180c / fan 160c / gas

ALLERGENS: Shellfish, egg, nuts, soy, sesame
Ingredients
- 26g Keto bread with psyllium
- 45g Prawns - cooked
- 12g Spring onions
- 2g Soy Sauce – AMOY LIGHT
- 12g Egg white
- 2g Cornflour
- 6g Sesame seeds
- 29g Vegetable oil
Instructions
- You will need to make the keto bread ahead of time if you haven’t got any in the freezer already. If you have the carb allowance, you can of course use a ready-made low carb bread, but it will change the ratio.
- Mince or chop the prawns until really fine.
- Mix with a pinch of salt, soy, cornflour, and egg white.
- Spread the mixture over the bread, going close to the edges.
- Top with the sesame seeds and press into the topping, cut into 4 triangles (or whatever shape suits your bread).
- Heat the oil in a deep frying pan until it is hot.
- Add the bread, prawn side down, into the hot oil and cook for 2 or 3 minutes, they should be golden brown.
- Drain on kitchen roll before serving, they should be served hot.
