Mo’s tip: You can use other brands of sausages, just check the values
Ingredients
- 100g Calabrian spicy sausages – M & S
- 50g Mushrooms
- 25g Lettuce
- 25g Capsicum pepper - green
- 15g Spring onions
- 10g Olive oil
- 20g Mayonnaise - HELLMANS
- 25g Tomatoes
- You will also need 3g GIA garlic paste.
Instructions
- Cut the sausage into 8 slices.
- Cut the pepper into 4 pieces, I found using the base of the pepper gave nice chunky pieces which fit well on a skewer.
- Quarter the mushrooms and coat them, and the peppers in the oil.
- Put the vegetables and sausage evenly on to 2 skewers (metal are best), either cook under a medium hot grill or place on the BBQ. They will take approximately 10 minutes.
- Prepare a salad using the lettuce, tomatoes and spring onion.
- Mix the garlic paste into the mayonnaise and serve as a dressing
