AUCTION LOTS
15TH ANNIVERSARY BALL – 28TH SEPTEMBER 2019
If you are not able to attend our Ball but would still like to bid on an auction lot then please email your MAXIMUM bid to emmamatthewsfriends.org BEFORE 12 noon on Saturday 28th September 2019 making it clear which lot you are bidding on. Any bids received after this time may not be able to be included.
You will be notified on Monday 30th September 2019 if your bid has been successful and you will need to pay within 14 days of notification.
Lot 1 – MILE HIGH BRUNCH
Bottomless Wine Brunch for 2 at Oblix East at the Shard.
What is included:
- 3-course brunch each with sharing starters and desserts.
- Unlimited red or white wine of the sommelier’s choice.
- Half a bottle of water each
Service charge is included in this package.
When can you go:
Saturdays and Sundays – 12 pm to 3.30 pm
The experience lasts for 2 hours including the unlimited wine.
Not available during the Christmas period from the beginning of November until 26th December, August, New Year’s, Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day.

LOT 2 – A SCENIC FLIGHT FOR 2 FROM HISTORIC BIGGIN HILL AIRPORT
Valid for 6 months from 1st October 2019.

LOT 3 – DAISY VINTAGE ICE CREAM VAN
You can have the Daisy Ice Cream Van to attend your event for one and half hours and up to 100 guests at a venue within 30 miles of Cheam. This includes a selection of eight flavours of Marshfield Farm Ice Cream and Sorbet.
If your event is at a hired venue, please check they are agreeable to Daisy’s presence before booking. Daisy will need to be parked on PRIVATE land. It is illegal to park Daisy on a main road or public pavement unless you have been granted a licence by the Council responsible for the land. A copy of the licence will need to be supplied before bookings can be accepted.
LOT 4 – 2 X RETURN CONFIRMED VIRGIN ATLANTIC ECONOMY CLASS TICKETS TO ANYWHERE ON VIRGIN ATLANTIC’S NETWORK.
You can use these tickets at any time up to 12 months from the 28th September 2019 subject to availability at the time of booking – except during peak periods as detailed below:
- 20th March – 20th April
- 1st July – 31st August
- 14th December – 10th January
LOT 5 – MEET AND GREET CAST OF COLD FEET AND OVERNIGHT STAY IN MANCHESTER.
Includes:
- Cast ‘Meet and Greet’
- Lunch on a filming set
- Overnight Stay in Manchester
- Must be taken by 1 December 2019

LOT 6 – BE A PLAYER ESCORT FOR AN ENGLAND MATCH AT WEMBLEY STADIUM.
The chance for one child to be a Player Escort for England’s EURO 2020 qualifier vs. Montenegro at Wembley Stadium on Thursday 14 November and walk out of the tunnel alongside the two teams. The child will also get to welcome the players as they arrive at the iconic venue and watch them warm-up on the famous pitch ahead of the match.
The prize also includes four tickets to the game. Three tickets are reserved for the parent(s)/guardian(s)/other guests of the Player Escort and one ticket is for the child. Match tickets and full Player Escort kits (shirt, shorts, socks) will be provided on the day.
The child must be aged between 7-11-years-old on the day of the game and be able to arrive at Wembley Stadium three hours before kick-off which is at 19:45.
