I found that rolling between baking parchment makes it easy!
Ingredients
- 42g Ground Almonds Morrisons
- 16g Double Cream Morrisons
- 126g Italian Mozzarella Morrisons
- 27g Eggs, whole, raw
Instructions
- You will also need 10g of psyllium husks and a tiny pinch of salt
- Start by draining the mozzerella on kitchen paper
- Melt the Mozzerella in microwave for 30 secs stir then melt for a further 30 secs
- Beat in on ALL other ingredients till a dough is formed
- This pastry can be used to make pies sweet or savoury, sausage rolls, base for quiches & Pizza
- Batching up is easy!
- The dough will weigh 216g so just divide it into 54g pieces which will be enough to make most recipes. Just add the values of the fillings to suit your ratio
- The photo shows what the raw dough will look like.
- With one 54g piece I made an Apple turnover by adding 40g raw cooking apples sliced & added some Sweetener then cooked for approx 20 mins in pre-heated oven 180cC/Fan 160c/gas 4, This will add 3.5g Cho to the dish Serve with cream if you need more fat.
- With another 54g I made 8 pastry cases which could be used in many ways ie: Make cream cheese filling or smoked salmon. Great for party food!
