Moβs tip: It is important to mix the powder in gently, if you over mix it will start to liquify, it will still cook OK but will look a bit flat!
These keep in an airtight container for a few days.
These areas near to βWotsitsβ as I can get them using the simplest ingredients and method.
You could add a dusting of a flavour of choice, I found some of the powders to be a bit expensive so did not bother, but these have a strong flavour anyway!
Ingredients
- 35g Egg white
- 10g Cheddar cheese sauce mix - SCHWARTZ
- You will also need ΒΌ teaspoon of cream of tartar.
Instructions
- Pre heat oven to 220c / fan 200c / gas 7.
- Whisk the egg white with the cream of tartar until stiff.
- Sieve the cheese sauce mix over the whisked egg white and fold in gently but quickly.
- Place in little heaps on a baking tray lined with silicone, I made 22 pieces.
- Cook for 5 minutes then turn the oven down to 90c / fan 70c / gas 1, then cook for a further 10 minutes.
- Turn the oven off but leave them in the oven until they are cold and crisp.
