Ingredients
- 17g Butter
- 8g Mature cheddar cheese
- 4g Cornflour
- 14g Ground almonds
Instructions
- Pre heat oven to 170c / fan 150c / gas 4
- Reserve 9g of the butter.
- Mix together the cornflour and ground almonds, rub in the 8g of butter.
- Stir in the FINELY grated cheese.
- Mix to a dough, it should form a dough easily but if it seems a little dry add a few drops of cold water.
- Roll out evenly, not too thin, between 2 pieces of parchment paper.
- Shape as preferred, I made 5 small biscuits.
- Cook for approximately 10 minutes until golden.
- They will crisp up as they cool.
- Serve spread with the remaining butter, divided equally to make up to fat content.
