Moβs tip: Divide the total recipe by the number of nibbles you make, this will make it
easier to add to the daily meal allowance.
These are handy to make available at parties as a replacement to crisps etc.
I made 25 pieces so 5 pieces will be: 6.99g fat / 2.00g protein / 0.23g CHO
Ingredients
- 17g Butter
- 14g Mature cheddar cheese β finely grated
- 29g Golden milled flaxseed β DHILLONS FLOUR MILL
- 7g Ground almonds
- You will also need a pinch of salt.
Instructions
- Pre heat oven to 170c / fan 150c / gas 4.
- Finely grate the cheese then weigh it.
- Rub the butter into the flaxseed flour and ground almonds, with a pinch of salt.
- Stir in the grated cheese and mix to form a dough, you may need a teaspoon of cold water.
- Roll out evenly, not too thin, between 2 pieces of parchment paper.
- Shape as preferred, I used an assortment of the little festive cutters.
- Because they are not very big, they cooked in approximately 10 minutes.
