CELERIAC SOUP
FAT: 32.45g PROTEIN: 4.20g CHO: 3.41g Ratio: 4.26:1


Ingredients
- 36g Celeriac, raw
- 18g Carrots, old, raw
- 10g Butter
- 12g Double Cream Morrisons EXTRA THICK
- 21g Bacon rashers, streaky, raw
- 13g Olive oil
- 12g Onions, raw
- You will also need some Gia tomato & garlic paste and a 1/4 of a Knorr stock cube (use the low salt ones if you are using smoked bacon)
Instructions
- Chop the vege
- Fry the bacon in the oil & butter add the vege with the Gia paste and stock cube
- Cover with water and simmer till soft
- Liquidise (A hand one is brilliant for small amounts but you can batch this and freeze at this stage)
- Put back in the pan add the cream and seasoning to taste heat gently till hot
- I found that a little sprinkling of dried Italian herbs was all the seasoning it needed
