CONGRATULATIONS to our wonderful Professor Helen Cross (Chair of our Medical Board) who has been awarded an OBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list. Here she is giving a speech at our recent Matthew’s Friends Rainbow Ball.
We are so delighted for her and it is well deserved. Her clinical trial on the Ketogenic Diet changed the whole perception of Ketogenic therapies around the world and proved that they worked once and for all.
That medical evidence has led to NHS centres being able to put in business plans to get ketogenic dietitians funded around the UK leading to an increase of children being treated.
Her work continues in the ketogenic field and we are very proud to have her as part of our team and this is why Matthew’s Friends are passionate about funding further research into ketogenic therapies for neurological disorders.
PROVING these therapies work gives us more evidence to get ketogenic therapies provided for everyone who need them. Professor Cross has been instrumental in that. We are so thrilled for her
